      Issue Summary

When the approach field is disabled we have identified users that use the Jira connector are seeing issues when they modify the associated project association for Jira Epics & Stories. When this happens despite the approach field being disabled, the additional programs is getting set due to the system thinking there are multiple projects linked to more than one program until all features have synced over updating to the new project association. The challenge is once all features and stories have been updated the additional programs & the star icon on the feature image are still visible and can't easily be removed.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Step 1 - Sync a Feature with a Child Story sharing the same Program from Jira to Jira Align
      2. Step 2 - Update the Program of the Feature via the Connector by either moving the corresponding Jira Epic to a new Project that is mapped to a different Program or mapping the associated Jira Project to a new Program under Jira Align Admin > Jira Settings.

      Expected Results

If multi-program functionality is toggled off or the approach field is toggled off on features, and if children stories that sync from Jira map to a different program than the feature, the stories' programs should be added as additional programs on the feature. Once the stories are moved to new programs and the additional program field has no values, the field should not be displayed on the slideout panel and multiprogram indicators (eg on the grid or work tree) should not display next to the feature.

      Actual Results

The Feature becomes multi-program with the multi-program icon in the Features Gird and the Additional Programs field shows on the Feature with no additional Programs.  Users have no method of removing the Additional Programs field and the Approach Field is not Present to shift the Feature from Mutli Program back to Single Program.

      Workaround

To fix this issue for any issues impacted you can turn on approach for the portfolio under Admin > Details Panel Settings and change the errant Feature's approach from multi-program to a single program. You can then turn approach off and the issue will be resolved.
