      Problem Definition

Currently, the REST API only allows creating new customers.
      https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/service-desk/rest/#api-customer-post

      Suggested Solution

Create a REST API to edit the customer's information like the name and email

      Why this is important

If you have multiple users to update doing it using the API will be faster and less expensive than having to edit all customers one by one through the UI

      Workaround

      Edit on the UI

Is there any update on this? I also have the same use-case (needing to change the customer's display name via the api)

a659ba5f9161 this is actually a slightly different use-case of needing to change their display name (not about revoking access). Can you add that use-case onto https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-8533 and back-date its creation date to 2017?

            • There's a customer needs this feature!
