Do deactivated users (removed from all groups) count towards my user count? It seems they do. This will become a problem for me this year.

It's annoying that deactivated users (removed from all groups) still show up in drop downs. This leads to them being mistakenly assigned to issues.

It really is time this "hack" was addressed for OnDemand customers. What's the ETA on a true deactivation function?

            [ID-76] Ability to deactivate/activate users

Hi, I appear to still see this manifesting as JRA-38802. Currentlyusing JIRA 7.2.4x on server.

            Hi cloud8,
This has been implemented in Cloud User Management for a while. You deactivate/activate users either from the full list of users at yourInstance.atlassian.net/admin/users, or from the individual users screen (see attached screenshot).

            Was this ever implemented?

Thank you SO much for implementing this!!! It may seem like a small nuance but it was very annoying and we are very appreciative that this is resolved. You might want to put some documentation on the resolution (I was able to figure it out though). Also another recommendation, it was really easy to deactivate an account, you might want to put in a warning or a confirmation screen.

Hi everyone, we're starting to roll this out in stages, beginning this week.
            Thanks, Helen

Users without jira access and who are not in any groups, also still show up in the autocomplete for board administrator.

I concur - I have numerous users that are no longer in the company but still show up in all my drop down lists.

This hasn't been updated in awhile. Is there an update? It's really annoying that deactivated users appear in the auto-complete.

            Hi Helen,
When I revoke user access it gets out of every group and is out of assigne list.
But for some reason I still see revoked users on "WATCHERS list" user pick. Could this be avoided?

            Thank you.
