Profile in Cloud instance is not updated as per configured in Atlassian account

      Summary

      After enabling the Single Sign-on option with Atlassian Account, changing the Profile information in Atlassian account won't update the current Profile information in Cloud instance.

      Environment

      JIRA Cloud v1000.383.2

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Enable Single Sign On
      2. Go to User Profile in JIRA: Profile Icon > Profile > Update these details through your Atlassian account.
      3. Give a new name to Full Name
      4. Save changes

      Expected Results

      The Full Name in Cloud instance will be updated with the new value

      Actual Results

      The Full Name in Cloud instance is still using the old Full Name

      Workaround

      Currently profile data is only synchronized on log in, so logging out and back in again will fix it.

      We are working on changes that will fix this.
