We’ve moved the issue to our product backlog because the likely fix is beyond the scope of our product localization team. Our next step will be a session to review the product backlog and transfer issues to the appropriate teams to fix.

Thank you for your patience while we work to get this fixed.

Vaibhav Revankar from Atlassian Support suggested that I should describe in this ticket my problem that we have in our German system with our Date Time Picker when we try to log work time in Jira. Thank you so much for help! :

Hello If we want to log time on a ticket in Jira Cloud, the date field is pre-filled in English (e.g. 12/Oct/21 2:20 PM), this date format is accepted for logging. If we now select a new date or time via the small calendar icon with the Date Time Picker, the date will automatically change to the German notation according to our profile settings (e.g. 8/Okt/21 02:21 PM). However this German format with "k" in "Oktober" is not accepted by Jira and we cannot submit our logging. So we have to manually replace the "K" (Okt.) with a "C" (Oct.) until the format is accepted again and we can submit the logging. We have now tested the Work Around listed in this old ticket (JRASERVER-41268) to change the format to a pure number format, which is no longer dependent on letters and notations. This works for the date we pick via the Date TIme Picker, but it does not change that for time logging ONLY THE ENGLISH format with letters is ACCEPTED as it is automatically pre-filled when we open the logging screen. How can we set that the prefilled date corresponds to our system settings? How can we manipulate the pre-filled date? Currently we always have to manually adjust the date format back to English so that it is accepted which is very time consuming. Thank you so much for help and best regards
