    Description

      Background

For CWD-3756, the concept of a recovery mode was added to Crowd core so that administrators could more easily recover administrator access when they locked themselves out of Crowd.

However, this was only implemented as a possible option in Crowd's core so that each product which embeds Crowd (Confluence, JIRA, Stash, and Crowd itself) could choose whether to enable it or not.

Currently, Crowd itself does not allow this recovery mode to be enabled.

      Feature

Allow recovery mode in Crowd to be enabled so that customers have an easier recovery option than the long procedure detailed in Restoring Passwords To Recover Admin User Rights.

We should make it clear in Crowd's UI when recovery mode is enabled.
