Under Linux operating systems the Oracle JDK can no longer be installed through the packaging system, and requires admins to download and run a separate installed. Installing OpenJDK is far easier and we should support that.
Crowd runs against OpenJDK during development, and there are no known issues, but we should extend that to a full acceptance test run against OpenJDK.
