            Hi,

problem still exists with IE8 in our confluence wiki (3.4.6).
With or without the compatibiliry mode in IE the back/undo button don't work dependable or just don't work,
additionally the cursor jumps to the top of the page.
            Any solutions?

            Regards

I just upgraded to 3.0 and was ticked off to find that irritating jump/focus change STILL occuring when you point your mouse outside the RTE box in a long document (IE 7)

Any hack or workaround to stop this happening? It embarassing to have little bugs like this undermining my efforts to promote use of the wiki.

I had this bug too on Confluence 2.8.1 & IE6. Now with Confluence 2.10.3 it is gone on IE6, but still present on Firefox 3.0.8.

Has anyone been able to check for any focus settings?
If the cursor jumps to top.. something must be triggering it.

Some ways to help find it could be to look at all functions invoked / used by the rich text editor, (even any external ones) to find all actions that might cause a focus change / jump to top, and then to eliminate them 1 by one.

            regards,
            Paul

Contrary to some above comments, it's happening in Firefox 3.0.6 with Confluence 2.10.1.

btw, one thing i noticed with ie7, is that if you edit a page (in "confluence" full screen mode - via that icon button), it stops jumping to the top of the text area.

This seems good but we had some problems with making links while in full screen mode (v2.8.1) so i need to retest things when i dont have as many ie windows open).

Just tested in Firefox, no strange jump or flicker. So it seems to be IE7 issue. So hope there is a fix for it - IE7 is the corporate standard for me and I dare say many people.
