Seems to be a Firefox issue, since I can't reproduce the bug in IE 6. I was feeling in an extra generous mood and ran firefox in safemode to make sure none of my extensions were the cause.

      Steps to reproduce:

      Create a new page.

      Select the wiki editor

Put in characters until you a scroll bar appears (eg. sad <enter> loads of times)

[CONFSERVER-5328] Rich Editor jumping to the top of the page on "backspace"

Thie one also seems to have been resolved by the upgrade in 2.10

            • IE 7: does not have the problem
            • Opera 9.5 beta 2: does not seem to support rich text editing

Any reason why Tiny MCE still has the same bug under Confluence v2.6.1, which has just been released??? This doesn't really sound serious...

Is there a TinyMCE upgrade bug I can vote on to help add weight to fixing this issue? Or is it fixed? I didn't dig thru tinymce's site to crossreference / find the bug Ivan refers to.

            Thanks, Nick

            Hi Sandeep Tamhankar,

You are still experiencing this problem because we have not yet updated to a version of TinyMCE which contained the bug fix..
It should be scheduled for update soon.

            Thanks,
            Ivan

This is a pretty annoying issue and is still present in 2.2.5 nearly six months after this bug was originally filed.
