Need ability to delete multiple child pages from the parent page

    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

There needs to be a quick and easy way to delete multiple pages in Confluence. I have 500 or more pages to delete and I do not want to edit and then delete each one separately. That is ridiculous. From a parent, I should be able to select via checkbox which pages I want to delete and delete them with one click. I have test cases stored in Confluence and this is driving me crazy!

Hi Adam. So apparently 5 years aren't enough to deploy this feature... Any update on this? It's a critical yet basic feature.

Hi Adam, first, let me thank you for being one of the only guys at Atlassian taking the time to give feedback on an issue! Good job. Thanks for the precision, I got it now. Finally, I am also aware about the philosophy of Atlassian about not sharing any timeline to avoid wrong user expectations. In my opinion, this is mostly to hide poor project management. The end result is achieved though: customers no longer have any expectations . You don't need to comment on this part.

            Thanks again Adam.

Hi ncarbonneau, the implementation for a feature such as this which requires significant back-end server processing may result in a different implementation in Cloud and Server due to the differing architectures, therefore we do not arbitrarily align Cloud/Server roadmaps to implement the same feature at the same time. As you may have observed on other suggestions, we do not announce roadmap timing unless something is about to ship, as roadmap priorities can often change and result in us poorly managing user expectations.

Hi Adam, I am sure you know what will be the next question: When is it planned to be released for Cloud customers? I thought that all new functionalities were deployed for Cloud users now, and then on server version. It is no longer the case?

            Hi Adam,

It does not look to be available in Cloud version.

Great news! Maybe now is the time to revisit CONF-2524 and address CLOUD-6999? I'm probably being rather optimistic though.
