Desciption
When using a date picker in a Confluence page in other languages the day, month and year order is shown incorrectly. Irrespective of the settings in the configuration or the JVM parameters they always default to mm-dd-yyy if the language is set to any other than US/UK.
Environment
Confluence 7.0.1
Steps to Reproduce
- Change the profile language to a non US/UK language
- Create a new Confluence page and add a date
- The picker is shown with the incorrect order for the region/language
Expected Results
The day and month ordering is correct for the region e.g. dd-mm-yyyy
Actual Results
In other languages or regions other than US/UK this is shown as mm-dd-yyyy
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
