When changing the language in Jira, the custom fields that have added translation will disappear from Jira Issue Macro.
Steps to Reproduce
Create a custom field in Jira and add a translation in the desired language.
Add Jira Issue Macro in Confluence Page and navigate to macro display options to include this custom field
Change the language in Jira
Expected Results
The custom field should show the translated name along with the assigned value
Actual Results
The custom field remains the same, but the value is missing.
When you edit the macro, you will notice that the field is not on the list anymore.
Workaround
Create a new custom field without translation
Workaround 2
Manually add the translated custom field from the list in Macro settings:
- Make sure the user has a different language set in Jira user profile.
- Go to Edit the Confluence page.
- Edit the Jira issue macro table and click Display options.
- Remove the custom field from the Jira issue macro.
- Re-add the translated custom field in the Jira issue macro. You should see the field name when Jira user profile is using different language.
