Description
Issue Summary
Custom field with translation doesn't display value if user profile language on Jira and Confluence is different
Steps to Reproduce
- Create two users in Jira (e.g. User1 and User2)
- Create the two same users in Confluence (e.g. User1 and User2)
- In Jira set User1's language to English
- In Jira set User2's language to German
- User1 creates a customer field in Jira and add a German translation
- User1 creates a JQL and adds to a Confluence page using Jira Filter/Issue macro. Display the custom field
- User1 views the page the custom field's value is displayed
- User2 views the page the custom field's value is not displayed
Expected Results
Custom field's value is displayed for User2
Actual Results
Custom field's value is not displayed is not displayed for User2
Additional Testing
Additional Testing
In Confluence, I changed User2's language to German. Return to view the page created by User2 and the content of the translated field is not displayed.
Now If I edit the page, edit the macro without making any changes and save it, the content of the translated field is displayed for User2 but not for User1.
Workaround
Create custom field without translation
