Type:
Bug
-
Resolution: Obsolete
-
Priority:
Low
-
Affects Version/s: 2.1.4, 2.7
-
Component/s: None
-
Environment:
Using WAR file for Jira and Confluence, running under tomcat with shared user management.
When adding a user group for space permissions a check is performed to ensure that the group exists, but this check is case insensitive and will allow a group with incorrect capitalization to be added. This can cause user administration confusion (see CONF-5684).
