IE Flickering when try to edit document

      When using IE to set date and add a text side by side to the date, in a small window, IE starts flickering up and down, when pressing enter or typing.

      Atlassian Dev, please look at comments fo further information.

       

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Edit a page using Internet Explorer 11
      2. Enable 'Page Layout' in the toolbar, so the content gets into a single column section;
      3. Add content until the scrollbar appears;
      4. Type some text or click on images/macros;

      Expected behavior

      Editor remains stable

      Actual behavior

      The scroll bar rapidly bounces to the very top and then back to the cursor.

      Notes:
      This seems a little random on macros/images, sometimes you have to click in an out the image until it happens.

            We only use IE as a browser at our company. It's not possible to work with such flickering screen for longer than 5 minutes.

            Totally agree with Gregor!

            As IE can be managed with Enterprise tools like GPOs or system center, many companies use this browser as Default. Please fix this annoying behaviour.

            @Atlassian Team: can you please take this BUG seriously. Our users cannot work with IE11 and Confluence almost for 1 year. They think that Confluence is broken with IE. We are trying a workaround with a different browser, but we do not know how long we can do that cause of policy reasons.

            Can you raise the priority somehow?

            I can understand that nobody likes IE and its interpretation of internet standards, but if you provide an "enterprise" software or you want to be called as supporter for enterprises , you need to support IE within your products. Right now I do not see these at all

            Same issues for me, 6.3.3 IE 11 when I type anywhere in the edit page view.

            I have this issue everytime when using Windows 10 + IE 11. Tested with 3 different confluence instances and approximately 6 different client and users.

            Issue could be reproduced in Versions 6.1.1 + 6.1.2 and 6.2.3.

            I have a single user having the same problem here, can't see anything wrong on her system and haven't seen it anywhere else in the Org. This is after upgrading to version 6.1.3

            Hello mtran@atlassian.com, please use the "VLC Media Player" to open the video - the "Windows Media Player" doesn´t work and i don´t know why
