    • We collect Confluence feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

As can be seen from the attached screenshot, the jira issue on the right has the value of 30th December 2011 for the fields "JC Issue Due Date" and "JC Lets scynchronise"

Both of these fields have been mapped in the Edit Calendar dialog.

It has been approximately 15 minutes since the issue was created but it is still yet to be reflected on the Jira calendar.

This is definitely not a caching issue as the changes were not seen on a fresh browser that had not displayed the calendar before the changes were made.

[CONFSERVER-51292] Eliminate lag time between setting date in JIRA field and seeing changes reflected on JIRA calendar

Has there been any progress made to resolve this issue which has been open since 2011?

I feel that this is an absolutely critical problem of not getting having to automatically refresh the calendar for an hour.

I'd also be curious if anyone else is having the same issue, as it appears to be a pretty significant problem. If so, please go vote/watch TEAMCAL-3978. Thanks!

Kevin, there is now an official bug report logged here: TEAMCAL-3978

You'll probably want to go vote and watch that issue...

Hi Brian, after doing another test yesterday it eventually updated after about 3 or 4 hours without me doing a manual refresh. But, if I in another browser or another user does the manual Calendar refresh my Calendar updates when I do a browser page refresh with recent changes so it is probably not based on any time schedule. It should update immediately. It is definitely a server-side issue. We will log a call to Atlassian as well.

Kevin, we are having the exact same issue with Team Calendars never updating automatically from JIRA issues. Our calendars also will update only with a manual refresh. They should be updating at least once an hour, but that most definitely is not the case for us, either.

We currently have an open support incident with Atlassian regarding this, and they are investigating the issue. I suspect we'll see a separate issue logged for that problem since it clearly isn't isolated to our Confluence / Team Calendars instance.

Is this still an issue? The reason I ask is we have a Jira form we use to log leave requests. The dates and details on this form is pulled into a Confluence Calendar. This all works perfectly. Well, sort of...
Any of these events can be edited or a new request logged and it does not reflect the change in the Calendar. I can open the Calendar (on my PC) in Chrome, IE or FireFox and they all look the same, these changes are not reflected. I can Refresh/Restart my browsers several times, no difference.
It gets even more odd. A work colleague of mine sees absolutely nothing in her Calendar, it is completely blank.
Another colleague sees everything, including the changes and new events recently made.
            Until...
...a Calendar Refresh is made. Then only do all the changes and recent updates appear in my Calendar. Every user has to do this Calendar Refresh to see the updates. Why is this?

Please make this real-time (or near real-time). thanks.

This is ridiculous. This basic functionality is going to make it necessary to move off of JIRA and onto another solution for project management. If issues don't fall off the calendar then staff can't tell what is really pending or not. Has this issue really been open for 4 years?

No workaround available for Cloud users...
