A Confluence page uses the JIRA Issue/Filter macro, either for displaying a single issue or a list of issues.

When exporting this page to PDF, there are several icons missing or they are corrupted:

      • ID of imported issue
      • Status of imported issue
      • Type of issue
      • Priority of issue

[CONFSERVER-41579] Missing or corrupted icons of JIRA issues in PDF export

We are on Jira Data Center 8.15.1 and Confluence Data Center 7.0.1 and are having this issue when exporting to Word.

I'm still seeing this issue in 6.6.16.

Updated: My issue appears to be related to the use of table of contents on the same page.  Removing the table of contents fixed the issue.  CONFSERVER-39519

I'm still impacted by this issue (Confluence Cloud). Why it is not available for cloud users?

Hi, when can we expect the same fix in Confluence Cloud ?

            Hi mtran,

I can confirm, as others have already stated, that this issue here is not a duplicate of CONFSERVER-37345.

The problem is that Confluence doesn't pull in any external images on PDF export (on v5.10.8 anyway). I've just raised a bug ticket with them as we've done a whole bunch of testing around this and it affects icons pulled into Confluence (for PDF export only) from our JIRA instance but also from any other external source. Confluence makes the request for the image, the remote server serves the image, but Confluence doesn't process it and logs it in the app log as "cannot retrieve the requested resource", even though the remote service returns a valid 200 response.

I have this same problem on STOCK configuration.

I can confirm that this is not a duplicate of CONF-37345.

We experience the same issue: When Exporting a page containing a "JIRA Issue/Filter macro" the resulting pdf contains the loading icon and "Getting issue details..." (without using zypher!).

It seems like the pdf export does not wait until everything is loaded on the page..

This is not a duplicate of CONF-37345. That issue relates to a special icon associated with the Zephyr add-on whereas this issue refers to stock-standard icons for the Priority field. You should either reopen this issue or make it a duplicate of CONF-43628 instead (and change the priority to medium).

The Priority of an issue is left blank in the PDF export. Therefore, until this issue is fixed - the PDF is next to useless for print outs etc. Is there a workaround to display either the Priority icon or the words instead on a PDF export of an embedded report?
