I renamed a page, and all the normal [ ] style links got updated, but not the links in the {excerpt-include} macros. Instead the excerpt-include macro displays as "The page Some Page does not exist."
Since I'm using excerpt-include a lot, and I want to be able to easily change page names (I'm using it to track acceptance tests), this will be very annoying for me, requiring a lot of extra hand maintenance.
