search is not working with non-ascii characters

    • Windows 2000, Confluence 1.0.2 (Standalone installation, Tomcat 4.1, HSQLDB). Encoding (General options): UTF-8.

    Description

      After entering text (russian in my case) on quicj search bar or on the search page confluence founds no pages. Search phrase is broken - double-byte characters seem to be treated as single-byte characters.

      By the way

      {search:}

      tag works just fine.

      The same problem occurs in almost every part of confluence e.g. export, references, attachments and other. The only thing that works almost correctly is "create new page".
