Unicode queries in quick search don't have any results

      jdk1.4.2, Tomcat4.1.27, Windows XP as client, Mozilla

      Indexing a space that contains unicode content seems to work properly but search for a such this contents returns no result. it seems all unicode queries are not encoded properly(one byte gets omitted for each character).
