    Description

      Desired feature

When pasting an image while the cursor is in a list, paste the image as a full size image below the list.

Currently, images pasted in a list appear as inline images

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Navigate to the page editor
      2. Insert Numbered list
      3. Insert an image

      Expected Results

The image is inserted in its original size, as a new line below the list

      Actual Results

The image is inserted as an inline within the list

      Workaround

      1. When you use Tables or Layouts, the image will not be inline.

      2. Break the list and paste a full-size image on a new line, then re-start the numbering of your list below the image

      Why is this a suggestion?

We recently shipped inline images in Confluence Cloud - a highly voted for feature: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-68501

As part of this implementation, a design decision was made to treat any image inserted within a list as an inline image. Note you can click on the image to make it full size if needed.

The Confluence Cloud editor has never had the ability to have full size images within lists, however if you would like to see full size images or other content types in lists, please vote & watch this related suggestion and feel free to add comments to help us understand your use case: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67862
