Can't create new JIRA issue in Confluence if there are required fields

      Summary

      Create a new issue with the JIRA issue macro or by selecting text in view mode, it will fail if fields are set as required in JIRA.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a project in JIRA
      2. Create some custom fields like 'Select List', 'User Picker', Select List (cascading), etc
      3. Mark these fields as required for the screens.
      4. Go to Confluence.
      5. Select some text and click "Create Issue" or create a new issue using Jira issue Macro.
      6. Choose the project you recently created.

      Expected Results

      The issue should be created

      Actual Results

      The below message is thrown:

      The required fields *ABC123* and *XYZ123* are not available in this dialog. You will need to create your issue directly in Jira

       

      Workaround

      Set the fields as optional is the only workaround available as of now
