Description
Issue Summary
When working with Attachments either via the Attachments macro or the page attachments, the View and Edit buttons are automatically downloading the attachment file, in addition to allowing the user to see/edit it.
Steps to Reproduce
Scenario 1 :
- Create/edit a page in Confluence
- In this page, make sure to add the Attachments macro.
- After publishing the page, if the same does not have any attachment, make sure to upload one. If the page already has an attachment, the same will be displayed on the macro
- Tap the arrow on the left side of the attachment's name/link
- Tap View or Edit.
Scenario 2 :
- Open the page attachments via the three dot menu
- Click on View or Edit for a given attachment
Expected Results
The attachment would be previewed/displayed, or, be opened in the Companion app in order to be edited.
Actual Results
Besides being previewed/displayed (or edited), the attachment will be downloaded as well.
Notes
In Firefox, after automatically downloading the file, the screen will keep loading and will need to be refreshed in order to properly interact with Confluence again.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
