    Description

      Status Update 14 April 2023

      Hi everyone,

This is Lennon from the Confluence Cloud team. We are reaching out to let you know that the team has ended support for Jira gadgets on Confluence pages, effective September 29, 2022.

Jira gadgets were created nearly a decade ago, serving as an method to dynamically display data from Jira project(s) on to a Confluence page. As our products have grown substantially over the past decade, the gaps between these gadgets and the collective Confluence cloud offering have widened to a degree we can no longer feasibly support.

As a result, we will be ending support for these gadgets and closing existing requests that pertain to a feature request or bug fix. Our product team will be exploring new and efficient ways to pull dynamic Jira content onto Confluence pages.

In the mean time, all Jira gadgets will continue to work as is and will continue to be available to you. Please see our support documentation for a full list of the gadgets impacted by this change: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/use-gadgets-to-add-dynamic-content
