On affected instance

1. Search for pages containing JIRA macros using: macroName: jira*
2. Navigate to the page.

Error message

com.atlassian.applinks.internal.common.auth.oauth.OAuthMessageProblemException: OAuth authentication failed: consumer_key_unknown at com.atlassian.applinks.oauth.auth.OAuthApplinksResponseHandler$1.authenticationFailed(OAuthApplinksResponseHandler.java:96) at com.atlassian.applinks.oauth.auth.OAuthApplinksResponseHandler.handle(OAuthApplinksResponseHandler.java:67) at com.atlassian.plugins.rest.module.jersey.JerseyRequest$2.handle(JerseyRequest.java:134) at com.atlassian.sal.core.net.HttpClientRequest.executeAndReturn(HttpClientRequest.java:96) at com.atlassian.plugins.rest.module.jersey.JerseyRequest.executeAndReturn(JerseyRequest.java:131)

Workaround

The issue is usually due to a broken Application Link. Please contact Atlassian Support (by logging a support request in support.atlassian.com) to have the application links reset.
