Hi. I would like to add, that from our perspective, this is not "broaden the possibilities", but rather "enables Compass to use GitLab in an Enterprise setting".
At the moment, there is no support for multiple GitLab tokens, and there is no support for root GitLab tokens.
All enterprise git orgs have a structure like this:
OrganisationRoot/
├── TeamA
│ ├── Repo1
│ └── Repo2
├── TeamB
│ └── Repo3
└── TeamC
With the current Compass feature set, a company can only give access to either TeamA, TeamB, or TeamC.
This very problem is currently blocking a potential 60-user rollout at our company.
Is there a specific timeline for when GitLab will be fully usable?
(FYI awilkes)
