I'm excited to announce that Dark Theme is now part of Bitbucket DC 8.16. The new Dark Theme is carefully designed to minimise eye strain and enhance readability of content. For more information, read Bitbucket 8.16 release notes and documentation.

I would greatly appreciate a dark theme in BitBucket. I frequently use the Bitbucket web interface to view code that I am referring to but not editing. If I didn't have all that white glaring at me it would be an improvement. Thanks.
