            Some thoughts on this:

            • latest Jira Data Center and Confluence Data Center still have "Azure SQL" as supported platform. Bitbucket has not.
            • Azure SQL is offering a Compatibility Level for having a mapping between Azure SQL and SQL Server. E.g. level "140" tells that the Azure SQL DB is compatible to SQL Server 2017 - which is a supported platform of Bitbucket 8.9 LTS or 8.19 LTS.

Hi Atlassian Team. At the moment the Bitbucket detects the Azure SQL Instance version as normal SQL Server version which cause the alert on the system and may prevent any feature system upgrade. Can you please look into this? At least the Bitbucket system should know the version different between Azure SQL and normal SQL Server

Azure SQL has two types: Azure SQL Database and Azure SQL Managed Instance

Could you advise this ticket contains both?

            Hello,

we plan to migrate our tools into Azure and love to see Azure SQL as the one Atlassian to confirm as supported. or should we look around for different Cloud provider....?

            Thanks

The official Azure Marketplace image for Jira deploys an Azure SQL cluster which leads me to believe that it's being worked on. Fingers crossed!
