      Hi everyone,

Starting from Bitbucket Server 6.3 you can compare commits without any workarounds. Just click on   Compare in the sidebar and select a commit, branch, or tag to compare.

Sharing results of comparison with your team is also easy — simply send them the URL.

      Original request description

Gilmore is saying he would find this very useful. It would be fairly easy to augment the Changeset page to allow this. The backend already suports it.

Does anyone have any update on this issue? People on my company are waiting this feature since years...and I think that this suggestion is pretty old now (I see it was opened in 2012...)

Needed this again today in a meeting. Would have made discussions much quicker had we been able to see the arbitrary diff between two commits more easily.

Indeed for us this would be important. I hear that GitHub supports it, so our users are not expecting an inferior product.

A clear use case if for example if someone wants to share the diffs via email with someone else, or to attach it documentation. Some important and larger changes do have a pull request but not all do.

Thanks for working on this issue. We are waiting this one, it is exclude our spike for the fetching diffs in UI
