Description
Summary
On Bitbucket Cloud repository that is integrated with a Jira Cloud instance, user will not be able to directly open the Jira issue in the same tab from the pull request page.
This bug is also affecting the "Jira issues" tab in Safari.
Steps to Reproduce
- On a Bitbucket Cloud repository that is already integrated with Jira Cloud, go to a Pull request page that is linked to a Jira Cloud issue.
- Click on the issue key to trigger a popup dialog that loads the issue from Jira Cloud.
Expected Results
The Jira Cloud issue will be loaded in the popup dialog without any issues.
Actual Results
- The Jira Cloud popup dialog will request the user to perform a login:
- After completing the login, the dialog will show the following error:
- The error will appear even though the user is using the correct account with the necessary permissions on both Bitbucket and Jira to view the Jira Issue.
Notes
- Tested with Safari Version 12.0 (14606.1.36.1.9)
- This doesn't happen on Google Chrome.
- There are multiple 404 HTTP responses in the console tab when it occurs.
Workaround
Open the Jira issue in a new tab/window from the pull request page rather than on the same page.
