      Issue Summary

      Using the Jira Cloud for Sheets/Excel integration to export issues will show all the dates in UTC and not under the user profile timezone.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Access the issue navigator and build a JQL;
      2. Export the issues using the Jira Cloud for Sheets/Excel integration;
      3. Check the date and time fields.

      Expected Results

      The issues are exported using the user timezone.

      Actual Results

      The issues are exported using UTC instead of their own timezones.

      Workaround

      Workaround 1

      Export the issues using the Jira export functionality

      Workaround 2

      Import the issues by using the JQL method from the Excel's or Google Sheet side instead of opening the results from the Jira's issue search navigation view.

            Hi All!

            This bug was reported almost 1,5 years ago and it's still in "Needs triage" status without an assignee. Based on a long-term experience with Atlassian this means it could take years (in certain cases many-many years) until it gets picked up if ever. Especially, that Atlassian categorized its severity as "Minor".

            Until Atlassian fixes this bug, I'm suggesting you try the long-awaited, recently released Better Excel Exporter for Jira Cloud app. In contrast to JCE which is an add-in, Better Excel Exporter is a native Jira Cloud app and doesn't rely on Microsoft's infrastructure to compile and generate your Jira Excel reports. It's more flexible, reliable, and supported by a responsive tech support team.

            Give it a try for free and see if it is a better fit for your use case >>

            (Better Excel Exporter is a paid and supported app and I'm part of the team working on it.)
