'depluralisation' makes search poor?

      On c.a.c, if I type ldaps into quick search, I see a page named 'Performance Problem when Using LDAPS' in the drop down. When I search for ldaps (or 'ldaps' or "ldaps") in Confluence search (i.e. https://confluence.atlassian.com/dosearchsite.action?queryString=ldaps&where=conf_all&startIndex=30 ) that page does not appear in the first four pages of results.
