Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a blogpost in your Confluence Cloud instance with emojis in the title and in the body.
2. Search for the blogpost in the Confluence search or in the API (GET /wiki/rest/api/search?cql=type = "blogpost")

Expected Results

The search will show the emojis, e.g. 🤔

Actual Results

The search is returning broken characters for the emojis, e.g. ��

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
