Issue Summary
The 'Include Content' (Include Page) macro does not work when the target page's title contains an emoji inserted from keyboard. In the macro search menu, the emoji from the page title appears as '', and attempting to include it results in an error on the published page.
Unable to render {include} The included page could not be found.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a page, add an emoji directly from the keyboard to this page title then publish the page.
- To open the emoji keyboard on Windows, press the Windows key + . (period) or Windows key + ; (semicolon). For Mac, use Control + Command + Space to open the Character Viewer.
- Create another page and add the Include content (include page) macro to it.
- Edit the Include content macro to select the page you created first.
- Publish the page.
Expected Results
The Include content macro should display properly the page that contain an emoji in the title without any errors.
Actual Results
The Include content macro is not displaying properly the page that contain an emoji in the title, resulting in an error message. Plus, in the macro search menu, we can see '' icons (replacement character) replacing the emoji.
Page with "custom emoji" (inserted by keyboard) versus native emoji
Workaround
Currently, if you want to keep using emojis in the pages title, the workaround would be to consider using an icon from the Emoji button above the page title. That native emoji is working without any problems with the Include content macro.
