Allow admins to unlock a provisioned managed account temporarily and later on relink with the Provisioned data (API and UI option)

      We have situations when we should sync a different Atlassian Account to the one synced with an Identity Provider account.
      This process is currently performed by requesting Atlassian support to unlock the account, and then the Organisation administrator will move the email to the right Atlassian Account. Once done, Atlassian support will re-link the managed account to the provisioned data.

      Unlock a provisioned managed account temporarily. This will allow organisation administrators to move the email from the previously synced Atlassian Account to the adequate one.

       

      Suggestions :

      Add the following admin hub and REST API capability

      Re-link a managed account to the provisioned data.

      Workaround :

      • Perform changes on the IDP side that will trigger a re-link
      • Contact Atlassian Support
