    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Currently missing from audit logs:

      • Currently, changing a user role is not logged on the Org Audit Logs (even though the user is added to the site-admins group, such information is not logged in the logs).
      • Currently, there is no option to know who performed changes in the product subscription.

      Proposed Solution

Improve the Org Audit Logs so that it also records changes on roles.

[ACCESS-1065] Add audit log when change is made to product subscription

As well as being a gap from a security/audit perspective, I noticed this when performing test Cloud migrations.

With an Atlassian Access subscription, the organisation audit logs now display when a user is added to a group:

With this in mind, would the watchers of this issue be ok with me changing its title to the remaining request: "Add audit log when change is made to product subscription"?

            Thank you!

This affected the instance of our customer.

We opened ticket: PCS-55374 and the support engineer said that:

"The premium trial was activated by Atlassian end on 1st Feb under initiative where customers on an eligible annual confluence edition will receive an extended premium trial that allows to experience the new system app feature for free."

So Atlassian activated the Premium subscription. This should be shown in the audit log (and it wasn't). Also, I suggest that the user that recently changed the subscription should be shown on the "manage subscriptions" page in Atlassian admin hub.

This is critical security information that needs to be available for sites that have multiple Site Admins. Please implement. Thanks!
