It would be nice if all the attachments of an Issue are displayed at the sidebar in the Customer Portal, maybe as a list. So the customer would be able to see quickly all the attachments. It would also be good if he has the possibility to download all the attachments as a zip-file.

[JSDCLOUD-2362] Attachments in Customer Portal visible at the sidebar

Hi! We have just been asked to provide this to our customers today... is there any update on whether this enhancement will be progressed please?

We looked at this feature request and we have decided to not pursue this yet in the near future. We will continue to monitor the feedback and re-evaluate if we have significant customer interest.

I'd like to add that it is for this kind of portal setup not very helpful to show attachments as images as they take a lot of space on the screen, especially when adding several attachments and comments over time this becomes anoying.

but maybe, as a short term improvement, you could make it a choice to the admin that attachments are shown in portal only as linked document and not image previews or , if admin wants to enable, make the impage preview active?

and would be great if we do not ahve to wait for another 3 years ... I see even no comment from Atlassian support.. has ever an Attlassian guy looked into this case? I dont find any signs for that...

            Hi,

This ticket still open. This year there will be three years when this ticket was created.
What about your plans regarding that?

Of course, only the attachments which are visible for the customer should be displayed.

Personally I don't think the attachments should all be visible by default.

Rather control which ones are available and which ones aren't, in case your intention is to attach something for internal purposes
