Support Microsoft Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)

      Allow Confluence to use Azure Active Directory as an LDAP server.

      Confluence DC does support SAML authentication via Azure IDP, but currently Azure AD cannot be used to synchronise user/groups into Confluence. Providing the option of LDAP sync with Azure will simplify SAML SSO significantly.

      Crowd does support Azure AD as an LDAP server from v3.0 and above.

            Hi 4e81381d415c, I've reached out to the Jira team and unfortunately they've unable to provide any dates, but they're currently investigating to see if this is something they could implement sometime in the future. Thanks for your question!

            thanks for adding this feature! Can we expect that Jira will also get this feature when the Crowd libraries gets updated?
