Issue Summary
Legacy virtual users are unable to be removed from boards and Workspaces. There is likely some data left over for these users. As a result, some Workspaces are exceeding the collaborator limit introduced by the Workspace user limits change, resulting in users being unable to make changes to cards.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open board
- Up on the top right, avatars will display for the virtual users but no details appear.
- No option is available to remove these users, both from the individual board or the Collaborators page.
- Attempt to edit or make changes to cards. An Unauthorized for read-only Workspace error will appear.
Expected Results
It should be possible to remove these virtual users to enable the Workspace to remain on the Free plan (within the 10 user limit).
Similarly, if the Workspace is within the 10 user limit, there should not be any issues making changes on boards. The Workspace should not be read only.
Actual Results
An "Unauthorized for read-only Workspace" error occurs:
Workaround
Upgrading the Workspace lifts the collaboration limit to allow users to continue using their boards, but this is only temporary in nature and masks the issue.
