Add an option to show actual whitespace characters in the diff window

The whitespace differences do not appear properly in the diff windows. This could be the case when adding/deleting tabs or spaces.

It is impossible to know what is the actual change just by looking at them and this would be very helpful sometimes, in order to know whether to reject or not the change.
