Continue rebase fails

      Basically I want to report https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/SRCTREEWIN-1655 again.

      By the time I write this, that is a low priority bug, closed as obsolete years ago - but time to time, users (including me) add comments about they still experiencing the issue. I guess a closed bug won't get much attention, so I open a new one.
