Users who want to push and clone with the Git LFS server will face a problem:

SourceTree has no mechanism to create a prompt for an authentication for Git LFS; it will only work if the Git LFS credentials are stored in the Git credential helper.

In Git's command line, however, this is not an issue; users are immediately prompted to insert username and password.

[SRCTREE-3109] Request for Git LFS support.

We've shipped Git-LFS and several qualitative updates.
