At this time, there is no user-facing error or warning when an agent's instructions reference a skill that hasn't been added. We recognise this creates a frustrating experience, especially since the agent fails silently with no diagnostic feedback to guide you toward the fix.

What we know today:

This is expected (but not ideal) current behaviour — the agent cannot execute an action without the corresponding skill enabled, and currently doesn't surface that limitation to users.

Suggestion / Ask

Runtime feedback when the agent can't perform an action, and a validation warning at edit/save time, are good to have and would be helpful to customers if this can be introduced in near future. Example, if any skills would be great to have then the agent might give a pop up message to review and see if any skills can be added.
