Issue Summary
When using Deep Research in custom Rovo Agents, by selecting the feature in the Scenario definition, customers can get up to 30 responses per day per user, according to https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Atlassian-AI-Rovo-articles/Deep-Research-in-Rovo-Agents-Tailored-Insights-Your-Way/ba-p/3167044.
This ceiling may be limited by other factors, too, depending on the complexity of the ask, the amount of data Rovo needs to go through, and possibly other factors.
However, some customers have been experiencing a lower ceiling and faced rate-limit errors, especially when engaging with their custom Rovo Agents via other channels than Rovo Chat, such as Slack.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a custom Rovo Agent
- Configure Deep Research to be used in some scenarios
- Engage with those scenarios
Expected Results
Rovo respects the limit of 30 Deep Researches per day per user and allow users to make full usage of the feature.
Actual Results
Rovo blocks calls much earlier, halting subsequent requests and causing all requests to fail.
Workaround
Fallback to using Rovo Agents via Rovo Chat, using the native Confluence, Jira, or Atlassian Home interfaces.
An alternative is to disable the Deep Research and tune custom Rovo Agent instructions to perform assertively.
