Rovo IssueSearchTool ignores numComments parameter on JSIS code path, returning all issue comments

      Issue Summary

      The customer reports that Rovo’s IssueSearchTool does not honor the numComments parameter when fetching Jira issues. Even when numComments is set to restrict the number of comments returned, the tool still returns all comments on the issue, which leads to overly long responses in the Rovo experience.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Access an Atlassian Cloud site
      2. Open a Rovo Agent that utilizes the IssueSearchTool.
      3. Provide a prompt that triggers an issue search with a comment limit

      Expected Results

      The tool should only return the number of comments specified in the parameter

      Actual Results

      Rovo returns the full list of comments regardless of the numComments value passed to the tool.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
