Summary

Currently, the Rovo Google Drive connector indexes only the following objects:

• Google Docs
• Google Sheets
• Google Slides
• PDFs.

However, HTML files stored in Google Drive are not indexed through Rovo, limiting the discoverability of important documentation and web-based resources that teams may store in HTML format.

Suggestion for Implementation

• Extend the Google Drive connector’s indexing capabilities to include HTML files.

• Index both the content and metadata (title, created/modified date, creator, etc.) of HTML files.

• Optionally, provide admins with controls to include/exclude HTML files from indexing via allow/blocklists.
