Rovo is still able to export or save data to PDF even with Atlassian Guard Premium enabled

    • Severity 3 - Minor

      Issue Summary

Rovo AI can be prompted to exfiltrate site data in formats such as HTML, PDF, or Base64, even when Atlassian Guard Premium / Data Security Policies are configured to prevent data export.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Access the site.
      2. Open Rovo Chat.
      3. Provide a prompt asking Rovo to "Export the following data as a PDF" or "Provide the content of [Page Name] in Base64 format."
      4. Observe that Rovo generates the requested output (code blocks or formatted text) despite the site-wide export restriction.

      Expected Results

Rovo should respect the Data Security Policy (DSP) and refuse to "export" or "format for export" any data if the site-wide export restriction is active.

      Actual Results

Rovo AI successfully returns data in HTML, PDF-ready text, or Base64 formats when prompted, effectively bypassing the "Export" restriction enforced by Guard Premium.

      Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
