Ability to bulk close alerts through the API

      User Problem

      It's not possible to bulk close alerts through the API.

      Since the close alert API requires an identifier to determine which alert to close, and is limited to the possible values of id, tiny or alias - it's not possible to bulk close alerts through the API. An alert can only be closed individually since it needs to be identified.

      Suggested Solutions

      Provide the option to query on alerts with the close alert API so bulk closing can be done.

      Current Workarounds

      Query on the alerts in the Alerts tab, select the alerts, then close the selected alerts:
