Summary

When using the mouse to select some texts in the text-based alert search query (in the Alert dashboard) to copy or to modify the search, it is like my cursor was refusing to co-operate with my mouse, especially after a few clicks.

The search dialog in the Logs page (under Settings) does not have this issue with the mouse.

Suggestion

Suggest making the text-based alert query command bar behave more like the Logs search dialog

Workaround

The workaround would be navigate the text-based search using the keyboard keys, or to use the form-based search.
