Description
User Problem
In the current design, there is no way to send out the attachments of the Opsgenie Alert to the associated ServiceNow ticket via the integration.
Suggested Solutions
Please consider having this feature available.
Current Workarounds
The workaround here is to craft your own script to make an API call to Get Alert Attachment from Opsgenie and make another Add Attachment API call to send the obtained attachment to your ServiceNow
The way to host and handle this script can be either:
- Have your own REST Endpoint hosing the script and handle the request, and set up the REST Action Channel or Webhook integration.
- Or, install and host an OEC service with your own script to accomplish the same, and set up the OEC Action Channel or OEC integration.
